OUR STORY

HOW WE MET

Sunday, March 13th, 2016

Our love story began in Boca Raton, Florida back in 2016. We met through a mutual friend on John's father’s boat one Sunday afternoon. We talked and flirted all day.
We really hit it off from the start and as they say, the rest is history!

OUR FIRST DATE

Monday, March 21st, 2016

For our first date, we went out to dinner at Tramonti, a New York-style Italian restaurant, on Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida. We sat at a corner table outside on the patio, drank wine, ate delicious food, and got to know each other better. It was a perfect night full of excitement and nervousness.

IT'S OFFICIAL

April 1st, 2016

It didn’t take but about two weeks after our first date to start officially dating, and thus, our romantic and passionate love story began. Over the next two years, our relationship flourished, we shared several incredible experiences together and we were suddenly creating a life together in Boca Raton, FL with our two dogs, Ted and Craig.

THE PROPOSAL

Wednesday, March 7th, 2018
An evening boat ride turned into the start of forever...

John proposed on his father's boat, where we first met and had spent so many wonderful days and nights together. He arranged a romantic dinner on a random Wednesday night in hopes of genuinely surprising me, which he successfully did. We boarded the boat and upon opening the door revealed the interior covered in red rose petals, dozens of red roses, and flower arrangements. We both were shaking when John reached into his pocket, got on one knee, and pulled out the most stunning ring I have EVER seen. A moment later, he asked me if I would “Be his Bubby forever?”. After a few seconds in a state of surprise, amazement, and overwhelming gratitude, I said “Yes!”. We embraced and celebrated this moment. Then we popped a bottle of champagne, had a private dinner catered from one of our local favorite restaurants, Papa’s Raw Bar, while cruising the intercostal. John hired a photographer to capture the entire proposal. It was a magical evening.
